The world's first digital sample roaster, IKAWA provides unparalleled simplicity, efficiency, and consistency to empower excellence in coffee roasting that is easy enough for beginners and advanced enough for the most demanding professionals.
Enabling collaboration and learning, the IKAWA Pro App unlocks your roasting expertise with a simple interface, roast profile library/sharing, and precision graph editing so you can focus on exploring each coffee's unique flavour, cupping and evaluation for purchasing, and profiling your coffee for production roasting.
Built for business, IKAWA's durable construction and low-maintenance design is made to withstand 60 roasts per day, with an accompanying Peli carrying case for safe transport to remote farms.
Available in PRO50 (50g capacity) or PRO100 (100g capacity) models.

ABOUT IKAWA
IKAWA means coffee in Kirundi—the national language of Burundi, where founder, Andrew Stordy, spent much of his childhood and where the IKAWA concept was born. As an engineer and industrial designer, Andrew wanted to help bridge the gap between coffee farmers and buyers by creating a roaster that could produce consistent and repeatable results to make excellent sample roasting simple and accessible.
From the idea phase in 2010, the original IKAWA Pro Sample Roaster debuted at the SCA World of Coffee in 2012, with continual improvement of the product and accompanying app ever since. Now in service in over 100 countries around the world, IKAWA roasters have become an essential tool for coffee businesses of all types—empowering collaboration and information sharing throughout the coffee supply chain.
